Slightly off topic, but maybe relevant to the question:

- I've used the transit hotel showers in the past - at SIN$5 bucks, it's pretty good value if you don't have any lounge access
- for *G, the SQ Premiere lounge, as indicated elsewhere on the thread, does have a single shower stall, which is located in one of the two toilets. Unless the lounge is totally empty, that makes me a little reluctant to use that facility - hate to think that I'm making it impossible for someone to use the toilet while I'm having a shower!
- the Silver Kris lounge does have 5 shower stalls, in their own area (with an attendant). Fantastic.

For the record, my first time in the SIN Silver Kris lounge was last week. I'm NZ *G, and was travelling on an NZ Y ticket on SQ metal, but had requested an upgrade on the upcoming sector to NZ. This was good enough for the lounge gatekeeper, who happily let me in. The lounge is indeed terrific.
