According to the JFK AirTrain service guide at www.jfkairtrain.com, the trip from AirTrain Station B (which serves long-term parking areas A and B) to the American terminal station takes about 15 minutes. Trains run every 4-8 minutes, except between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, when trains run every 12 minutes.
