A couple pieces of advice, based on our experience:

If at all possible don't go directly from your wedding. We went back to work for a week (can't say we were all the productive) and then left. This happened sort of by accident bc that was the day two first class Cathay tickets were available, but it ended up being a godsend. We were so brain dead and drained right after our wedding it was nice to regroup so we could enjoy our time and our flights!

Two weeks for Maldives and Europe will feel rushed. Even with some recovery you will still be tired and won't want to be constantly on the go. We did 2 nights in Hong Kong, 10 nights in Bali, 1 night in Thai first class, and 4 nights in Paris and that was good. Trying to do that in 2 weeks would have felt too rushed (I felt like regular vacations are for rushing, a honeymoon isn't). We were lucky enough to be able to get this time off work.

As others said Lufthansa First cant be booked in advance. I ended up switching to that a few days before we left. The First terminal was nice but honestly we weren't there long and I'm not sure I'd plan around this if you don't have a long layover.

I also hesitate to say plan your wedding around this trip, though I had a lot of honeymoon tickets booked before I planned a lot of wedding details - but I did have a date and the place. I would say start looking for tickets as soon as you have the date set and you will likely find something good if you give yourself some flexibility on the exact day you leave.

That doesn't really answer your specific questions about how to use your points but I hope it helps
Some. Good luck with your planning!!
Thanks for the advice. Like I said earlier, thanks for the tips because I've never been married, and I suppose I really haven't thought that hard about everything leading up to it, and I'm sure it will be much more stressful then we both think.

In my experiences with the FCT in FRA, that's the only way to get from the lounge to your flight: they drive you there. Timed precisely so you are the last to board, naturally. (The first time you experience this, I think the anxiety is to be expected. But then you realize: they do this all day every day, and their 747s don't accidentally leave Frankfurt without their first-class passengers.)
Was referring to be taken to our plane . Not anxious about being left behind, just looking forward to the (kind of) rockstar treatment.
