I would argue irrops are uncommon enough you're probably better off just burning a day pass in such situations if you won't use the club much otherwise.
Th reality is when the clubs become over crowded day pass holders are the first to be denied entry. And during major IRROPS the hub clubs (at least) will certainly be over crowded.
