There is a fallback system called JFE, which has been used occasionally in T3 and T5. This is the back end of Altéa, it entails losing a lot of the functionality, it is considered a "get out of gaol" position, which they are reluctant to invoke but when the chips are done it can be used. There will come a time when they can't go to PRS since the relevant contract will end - August I think?
JFE is another name for Altéa Customer Management, the check -in software from Amadeus.
Ba is using a "bare bones" version, meaning that it is not tailored to their processes and some functionalities might be missing between PRS or FLY and JFE
PRS was supposed to be decommissioned later this month, but BA's IT is not ready yet
