I'm not saying your flight would definitely be late, it's just something to take into account when considering which flight to take.

My 4:50pm departure last September was on time.

As Manila and PH overall is prone to extremely bad weather at times of the year, this also plays a part in the delays but because of my experiende, I'd definitely consider a 3-4 hour gap. I wouldn't risk it myself and if on time, it's nice to spend a bit of time in the lounge and at Changi itself.
