The speed of an EMV Contactless transaction is remarkable and when you have one of these transactions, you know it.
The Container Store is MSD only(slot is taped up) but contactless is super fast there like Starbucks EMV contactless speed and both places use semi-integrated systems.
Its not always transaction speed that tells you that EMV contactless is enabled here is an example of the kind of of info on an EMV contactless receipt:
https://app.box.com/s/y53qikm2f2p73e5i77p0w00fqml4r3id (Application Label and AID) which are both missing from the JJ receipt.
Cayan Genius on MX915's has both EMV and NFC enabled probably does EMV Contactless based on the very fast transaction speed but since its semi-integrated no info shows on the receipt at all.
If a chip transaction shows up as Visa Debit on the receipt when a Visa Debit chip card is run as credit then contactless is probably MSD only but if a chip transaction only says Visa on the receipt then it has a much higher chance of being emv ctls then and then then only way to know for sure is use Apple Pay as Android Pay does not seem to get the total first.
