Ah, so that explains the Le Meridien Paris L'Etoile, where the Air France buses pick you up right in front of the hotel to go to CDG..
Similarly Le Meridien Montparnasse (which has now left Starwood and become a Pullman), which is the other city terminus of the Air France CDG bus service.
IIRC, Le Meridien was essentially bust and was purchased/rescued by Starwood for a nominal sum.
