As a passenger, there is not much I could do about any of that other than to "take my business elsewhere". The forum is not *exclusively* passengers, either.
But as a frequent passenger who participates in this forum, and who also knew someone on that flight, I don't see any problem that it continues to be remembered. Feel free to add whatever context you feel is lacking.
