Thanks. It was just fully refurb'ed in 2013 / 2014. Do they normally get redone so quickly?
Just making sure the livingwell facility remains along with the buffet breakfast etc before I consider where to book.
Not all the rooms were done then and going by the recent tripadvisor reports I think it's only been a partial refit.
The management responses on tripadvisor say there is a "Major refurbishment planned".
I know Aberdeen Treetops is to be almost gutted during conversion and from what people have said Strathclyde is currently receiving the same treatment so I assume EDI will get the same.
I'm not sure about the health club but would be surprised if the buffet doesn't continue at breakfast considering the size of the hotel.
