Flying GMP-PEK-MEL next week on Air China with a 14 hour (daytime to late night) layover in Beijing, booked on a single ticket. Will be taking advantage of TWOV for the day and am wondering if I will need to pick up and recheck a bag or if it will be checked through.

Checked other threads, and only saw one regarding a SEL-PEK connection with Asiana, and that was several years ago.
