I am planning a trip to Europe for next May and I am thinking about using JAL. When I checked the JL website, the fare starts from AUD 1500 for Economy class (Q class) and it allows stopover and I have two questions.
The flight from Sydney to CDG (or any other Europe destinations), The flight from Sydney arrives NRT in the afternoon and All next available flights departs next morning
1. Does JAL provide hotel in Narita (STPC), also if I departs from HND, Does JAL provide transportation from NRT to HND next day?
On my return flight from Euorope (for examble from CDG), I would like to stay in Tokyo for a few days. But If I try to book on the computer, I have to use multi-city function on reservation and the fare becomes AUD 2200 or more. The fare allows me to stopover in Tokyo on the return trip.
2. How do I make a stopover booking without making the fare expensive?
I know it is a bit tricky questions but if someone can help me to solve the mystery, it would be highly appreciated.

In GDS, don't see any Q class available now. The lowest fare is N.

The fare rule for N class is as follows:
STOPOVERS
[1 Year- N CLASS] :
-1 stop permitted at SYD/SIN/HKG/KUL in each
direction at a cost of AUD100 Gross per stop.
-1 stop permitted at TYO in each direction at
a cost of AUD100 Gross per stop.
STPC
1 Year- N CLASS:
- Economy/Premium Economy Class Fares
include free accommodation -room and
transfers- at NRT for passengers
taking involuntary next day connections.
- NRT accommodation is available to
passengers connecting to/from
JL-operated flights inclusive of
JL7081 only operated by BA.
- Free accommodation is only applicable
to booking class K (ie Not applicable
in N class nor mixed class) Effective
on/after 01JUL16 Dept on/after 01OCT16
- Accommodation is subject to room
availability.
- Passengers are only eligible for FOC
accommodation if there is no same day
scheduled flight regardless of seat
availability.
- Accommodation must be booked directly
with JAL at least 72 business hours
prior to departure.
NRT-HND is on your own cost.
