Should make a difference in terms of comfort etc as the hotel is also to be refurbished.
Strathclyde is currently being done just now and it's pretty much a full refurb as opposed to a quick paint job.
So if anything rates will probably increase if the refurb and rebrand are done right. Given that the HIX along the road is noticeably better in terms of comfort compared to the Hilton it should make a big difference and with a Moxy also approved to be built pretty much opposite this had to be done.
