I apologize if this has been written about before...

I just noticed that the bookable upgrade mid tier benefit can only be booked online AT LEAST 15 days before departure. Am I the only one who thinks this is a very constraining rule? After all, how many DMs or even GOs can fix an exact flight to take two weeks before the date? Sounds like this is designed for members to gift to elder or younger relatives who plan travel months in advance.
