Chase has a rule where you can't get a new account if you have had five new accounts in the last 24 months. This wouldn't apply to you, but can be relevant if you start churning more cards. If you don't mind the slight short term effects to the credit score, then there's really no reason not to hold the Club Card for a year.
1.5x RDM is a nice benefit for bulk non-categorizing spend. And you
do still get CPUs on X/XN tickets. So eh - it might not be worth all that much, but free is free.
