depends how flexible your plans are.

The budget airlines could leave you with a problem as if something goes wrong they will not do anything for you - check elsewhere for comments relating to Ryanair.

Also the STN-LGW transfer could easily go wrong as both the road and rail network in the area are under considerable stain.

PS June 3rd is a public holiday here .. see http://www.thequeensjubilee.com/ All rail and coach services are likely to be on a Sunday schedule.
