I'll check the easyjet.com site for fares, thanks for pointing that out. RyanAir has some ridiculously low fares, like 2GBP each way STN to Glasgow. There are a bunch of fees added on, but for 2 RT the total was like 49GBP, which is pretty cheap to fly anywhere.
The fact that the LGW-STN might only be 28 vs 75 (is this RT) might help.
