Hello!
I'm trying to get information on the fastest (albeit economical) way to get from Stansted airport to LHR.
We arrive in STD at 12:15 and depart LHR at 4:15pm. I understand that it is approx. 1hr 15mins. between the two airports, which, after claiming our baggage at STD, leaves us about 2 hours to check in prior to departure. Can anyone tell me if this is sufficient time for check in on an international flight? We are flying Air New Zealand out of Terminal 2 (didn't know if this info would be helpful or not ). Also, would like input from anyone familiar with Ryanair as it pertains to claiming luggage, ie; how long does it realistically take after landing to get your bags?

Oh!! Almost forgot,....can anyone recommend a decent hotel close to the Stansted airport?
