Welcome to FlyerTalk heathrow paul.

I assume you are referring to the Observation Deck of the LAX Theme Building. Unfortunately it has been closed since approximately September 11, 2001 due to security concerns and I believe there are no immediate plans for it to re-open. Perhaps one of our other FlyerTalkers can chime in with additional infomation.

Encounter Restaurant, located just below the Observation Deck is open, 7 days a week. I've always enjoyed it.
