Has anyone waited longer than 30 days with no answer?

I did a walk in on June 6 (this was my 3rd attempt. My first 2 attempts I didn't make it early enough to get in..)

It is now July 15... 39 days later. I've called twice because my mom told me my step dad went after I did and got his number less than 24 hours later! She also had a friend that got hers less than 2 weeks after she went. The first time I called I was told some background checks take longer. The second time I called she said she would send it to someone to look at.

My husband has an appointment on Tuesday... however I travel more than him. We're traveling together on August 4th. He's thinking of canceling his appointment if I don't get mine. It would be a waste of money.
