Many Singaporeans were approved yesterday and today - thus the crazy waiting times. I would suggest that you line up for CBP when you come to the US this Fall (pick an airport with fewer international arrivals), and schedule to complete the interview here.

I am seeing plenty of time slots in JFK, EWR and Bowling Green later this year. I am sure you will be able to find time then.
