Family travelling in different classes

Hi,

I am going to be travelling with my wife and daughter on the route TLV-LHR-LAX next month. We have business class tickets for the LHR-LAX leg, but there were only 2 award seats (in business) on the TLV-LHR leg, which I booked for myself and my daughter. I purchased an expensive one-way refundable ticket for my wife and kept checking the BA site for another seat to open up....

Yesterday I saw that economy seats had opened up. Question is - if I book my wife in an economy seat, will she be able to check in with us using the business class line at the airport? Will she be able to access the lounge at TLV using the business class boarding pass for the LHR-LAX leg of our trip later that day?

I'm not going to actually make her sit in coach, I'll switch seats with her. Just nervous about having to separate when we get to the airport. I think there are also expedited security lines at TLV for business class passengers...any advice/experience would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Mike
