I stand by my assertion that this is a silly thing to worry about.
Modern incarnations of this technology don't even transmit your name.
One correction I'd like to make: the US actually doesn't have a limit. (But since contactless here is basically Apple Pay and other phone-based methods, it doesn't really matter all that much.)
