I have a question on logistics of an International flight to US flight connection at YYZ. My mom is flying LH from FRA-YYZ and then AC from YYZ-PIT on a single ticket/itinerary. She's a US citizen. From what I can gather online, after arrival at E gates, she'd follow signs to the F gates/US connection area. Once there, she would then scan her YYZ-PIT boarding pass at a kiosk, and then wait for her name or flight to appear on a monitor(?), after which she would pass through US Customs/Immigration. She would then go through security and proceed to the gate for her PIT flight. There will be no need for her to claim/recheck her baggage in YYZ. Is that roughly accurate? I appreciate any further details, info, or tips from people who've been through an International flight-US flight connection at YYZ recently.
