Wait. What is a checked bag?

The irony of course is that as a upper tier status customer, I am offered the ability to check in 3x70lb bags for free...

(many 7-10 day trips around the world, too. With just my trusty Kirkland roller bag and backpack.)

Why waste a week a year checking bags?
