Westin Woodlands

I've stayed here a couple times, and have been very impressed. Facilities are brand new - modern, clean design. Staff are fantastic - very friendly and responsive, and good Platinum recognition.

There's a full service Starbucks in the lobby, which is great. The club lounge is relatively small, but was not crowded and has a continental breakfast spread, as well as one hot item (e.g. scrambled eggs or oatmeal). There are a few basic snacks during late afternoon (e.g. trail mix, chocolate covered almonds). I didn't check out what was offered in the evening. The restaurant seemed a bit pricey for dinner on my first visit, but food was quite good, and there are tons of other options within walking distance. They apparently have updated the menu since, but I didn't get a chance to try it this time.

The gym is quite good and very spacious and bright. There's a really nice outdoor pool, and the bar provides drink service by the pool as well!

There's valet parking, and self-parking ($15), which is in a shared/public garage across the street from the hotel.

It's down the street from the Marriott Woodlands Waterway, and I find it's a nicer hotel, often a lower rate vs. the Marriott, and the staff are great. Highly recommend.
