It depends. The advance purchase fare is about 150% of commercial, but for last-minute tickets it's almost exactly the same as commercial.

Honestly, the best part about it is avoiding TSA-style security. When I departed from CCR, there was no security at all. The plane is comfortable enough, and the extra leg room and free booze is nice, but I'll pay the relatively minor premium to avoid the the TSA and having to arrive early at the airport any day of the week.
