Glad to see the points updated later on that day, i have successfully rebooked my stay at Hilton Blackpool for the new lower rate.
I believe there is an issue though still with this hotel as another date i was tracking later in the year was 30,000 points and remains 30,000 points after the category change. To me this indicates it was in the low season pricing which at Category 6 ranged from 30,000 to 50,000 points and this should presumably have moved down to 20,000 points within the Category 4 20,000 to 30,000 points range. If you have a look at rewards at this hotel for the coming year there are no dates which have 20,000 point redemption options which doesn't seem right.
Grateful if you can have a look into this.
