There were other options, though the fish appetizer sounded gross too. By the number of half-full plates that seemed to be going back on to the cart, though, I think I wasn't the only one who was disappointed. I can't remember what my family got, but they thought it was not very good either.
I'll tell you one thing, though. If a Swiss offers you chocolate? Take it. Always.

many intra-europe flights have terrible J cabins (basically the usual 3 Y seats with the middle seat being empty) while TK often offers a "real" J seat.
If you can get one, it's definitely a major plus for TK, but I've read that it's far less than the entire fleet and even if you think you're getting a plane with 2x2 J, there are often equipment swaps out of IST.
