I booked a EK ticket via the EK website and cancelled it at around 90 minutes before flight time using the request a refund form.
The fare conditions show it's fully refundable but has a AED400 no-show fee.
It seems that the request a refund form means all cancellations are actually manual, and not immediate in the booking system.
Do you think that EK will charge me the no-show fee even though I requested the refund before check-in closed?
At that late notice you should have called them. Who knows that EK may try and get away with now!
