Batteries allowance at HKIA
I will need to carry some power banks from HKG to SYD, I have checked with cx that they allow carrying up 20 lithium batteries (under 100Wh) as carry on luggage. Does HKIA allow 20 batteries to be carried through security check?


"In cabin baggage

Allowed inside equipment, plus 20 spare pieces allocated per passenger
Must be presented correctly (either enclosed in original retail packaging, with the terminals taped over or each one placed in a separate plastic bag)"
