The amazing thing about a free market is that prices trend towards where they offer value. BA has a virtual monopoly ex-LHR so it's not a free market, but there are any number of competitors between BCN and SEA offering Business Class. BA is one of the cheapest because it needs to be in order to fill the cabin.

Increasingly I have been buying cheap J as the prices seem to have collapsed this year - and I notice it's not the good products that are heavily discounted.
