My son -in law has started travelling for business on a very regular basis.He will likely earn E-50 in his 1st year. I made him my nominee and upgraded him on a Rouge flight 2 weeks ago ,YYZ/YLW.
Last week I did his u/g again from Halifax to Toronto on the 763 the OP references . I had him in 8A.
The texts and Thank-you went on for a half hour while he familiarized himself with " the old worn pods on the 767 " He loved it ,the meal service,the drinks,the space.....

Wait till he gets a Dreamliner or a 777 on AC. IOW,I have become de-sensitized, jaded,set high expectations... and so on.
