I disagree with how much more of the island you can see this way. A lot of of Kauai has very limited accessibility especially if you don't want to hike for miles and miles and days on end.

2) if you go with the doors off option at Jack Harter you are guaranteed a window seat because the MD500 only seats 4 plus the pilot!

3) We did the above doors off option and at 6' 2" I never felt cramped even in the back, and the views as well as the feeling, with the doors off are awesome.

4) We did tons of activities on Kauai and this was our favorite and judging from TA forums, of which the Kauai one is especially helpful, this is true of most visitors
