Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I have just read through the entire thing but couldn't find an answer to my question. I should have an IDC coming through the post soon. I have about 340k MR in my UK gold amex but would only like to transfer a portion of them in this 12 month period. Partially because the current exchange ratio is poor and also because I can only foresee myself using approx 100-140k of them in the next 12 months and don't want them lying around in the IDC account with the possibility of other 1:1 partners being downgraded to 3:2. So does anyone know or does anyone have experience of transferring less than your full balance of MR to the IDC?
