Has anyone used them for NHL tickets? Should I even try?

I have a few games in a few cities I want to make sure I have tickets to this upcoming season (especially one @ JLA), but on-sale dates/times haven't been announced yet. I missed out last year as I was flying, and will be in Peru during the August timeframe they usually go on sale, so want to be sure I get them for the last year @ the Joe.

Most teams are usually through ticketmaster, if that helps.
