In addition to all the other points already made, don't forget that many sale fares are never marketed as a sale. So tomorrow, you could find that on some routes the sale fares have been re-filed to extend their validity, but without marketing any extension to the sale. Or there could be new sale fares, which could be either higher or lower or the same as the current sale fares - and these may or may not be marketed as a sale extension.
