orrrr just buy a NYC>SFO (with connection) in F and SDC to a NYC>LAX>SFO, which gets you extra mqms and D1 on the long haul. totally reasonable, although you'd have to position th outbound as JFK as you can't co-terminal to any NYC airport as a non-DM.
