517$ is pretty good for JFK-LON but consider the costs of getting to JFK from PHL including time. Norwegian is good for low cost but as you've pointed out comes with fees for extras and no mileage earnings.
EWR-LON can be had for around 570$ on BA which will be easier to get to.
