I had travel insurance through M.H. Ross/TripMate though they wouldn’t cover a large portion of my out-of-pocket-expenses which included any communication costs: a SIM card, Skype calls, etc. I recovered as much as I paid for the travel insurance. Funny how that works. TripMate was difficult to reach and the communication was decidedly unfriendly. I went through squaremouth.
