Thanks but that is on BA, which would mean more miles in the Alaska program. As I mentioned my award ticket is on Alaska and their rules are different from AA and oneworld. The Alaska rep I spoke to was unwilling to book me on Ba without the additional miles AND the additional surcharges!

I know this is the AA forum and I don't want to detour it into Alaska program rules, just wanted to see if anyone had experience with AA scheduling of seasonal routes.
