The first 787-9 flight with pax is scheduled for DFW-LAX on 10/7. Can anyone confirm this? I checked on AA.com and that date does have a 787-9 service departing DFW 7:25a for LAX.
There's no real doubt about the intended inaugural dates at this point,as you point out, the seat maps are loaded. As to if-- particularly for the domestic first flight-- there are chances of it changing (as it seems kinda "tight" in terms of delivery, etc.,) I'd speculate those chances might be slightly greater than average, but nothing but pure conjecture on my part.
