You can call BA to ticket this, but ask for the price on the AA codeshare flights. It should then price identical to that offered on AA.com.

Really ? Is this a thing? Will BA let me pay for it as the AA code shares? They are definitely BA flights just AA is much cheaper? Does one literally just ask for the AA codeshare price? Apologies if that sounds stupid but this is new territory and I assume I avoid the booking fee given I am gold too?

You can get part pay ex-inv, I've priced up INV-LHR-JFK rtn at xmas for £94 and 15,000. If it's offering a cheaper price on AA via Google flights, price it up on BA.com directly. Google can't see some of the BA fares available on BA.com. If that doesn't work phone BA up and book it with the AA numbers.
It might not work if your using AA metal on the long hauls.
Wow that is a really good deal. What dates did you pick for NYC out of curiosity as I can't get it to price on GF or BA?
