*BA lounge in EWR stays open

*There isn't much to either lounge IMO, but I am slightly partial to the EWR one...I don't reckon you're picking your flight on the pre-flight lounge here as neither is blow your socks off.

*Search around if you're looking for other details about the difference between CX845 and CX899 (JFK vs EWR late night departures). Fyi, EWR is served by a 3 class plane "77G", and JFK is served by a four class plane "77H". You can search for those terms, perhaps "best business class", "mini-cabin", etc. and see some of the debates folks have between those two plane types. Those are the two main differences IMO.

*Both flights are a supper service on takeoff in J. Aka not a full dinner but there is still enough to eat. Just don't expect any "wow!" factor meal service...it never is on CX J, and particularly here.

I have also thought EWR catering was worse than JFK in the past, but I haven't flown ex-EWR in a year so I'm not really in a position to comment. CX J catering is mediocre to bad all around regardless of the plane type. Location-wise, if you're coming from New Jersey or Philly it's hard to make the excuse to go to JFK over EWR.

The hard product is identical just the layout on the two planes is different.
