MT- I agree, it's like a game of craps and very frustrating. The worst case scenario is your arriving at check-in only to be told that the dog must fly in the hold. It doesn't sound as if this would be acceptable for you.

Does AF have a ticket office in Denver? What about taking a drive to airport with dog and carrier and talking to the AF people?
