The updates to the DFW club were pretty much a joke. Some new paint, new carpet, less furniture, and some crappy buffet area. I talked at length to a friend who works there and they were all underwhelmed.

According to her (and who knows if this is true) that many of the expected updates and renovations were dropped or cheapened due to the decision to open a club in DEN and the costs associated with that, that their budget there was cut.

The temporary club in the E satellite was nicer than how this one turned out. But the staff is excellent, and it is still quite spacious. I was just expecting a bit more.
