Walkthrough of the Lodhi Deluxe Room at The Lodhi

Didn't stay here, but did visit the hotel regularly during my Delhi trip, so I'll just do some quick pros and cons:

PROS:
- Location of the hotel. It's really quiet and peaceful...in the middle of Delhi
- The rooms; specifically the size and private pool
- That main pool. The design. Especially when the lights come on. Kerry Hill at its finest.
- Spa is fantastic
- Still many Aman staff around

CONS:
- The biggest con for me is the 'Club' that they've opened up to Delhi public, meaning the gym, spa, and pool are now open to anyone who can pay a membership fee (which to be honest really isn't that high). As a result, the hotel's 'fitness' area is treated like a chain gym. Kind of loses the point of how peaceful and secluded the hotel is. You end up with people coming in during lunch time, after work swimming proper laps in the pool. It's a bit bizarre.
- For those Aman junkies, the interiors (as you can see) have changed from Aman's subtle colours to more vibrant colours. Not to my tastes necessarily, but they're not too bad either

Couldn't really comment on the food as I didn't eat much; the bread and the saffon ice cream was superb though.
