Naurally the ratio varies not only by route but also by aircraft type. To your point, even if two-thirds of the Y cabin of an A320 is filled with business flyers, if 14/14 J seats are occupied by business flyers, then yeah, my ratio makes no sense.

But I've also been on some YYZ-FRA flights where the J cabin is full of vacationers and families.

In any case, "business class" is just a name, not a requirement.
