AZ is Alitalia but you have posted in the Air New Zealand Forum and do mention Airpoints.
You do not book award flights with NZ. Airpoint Dollars (APD) are used as currency.
You need to be logged in to your account to make payment. The option is shown when you make your booking as part of the payment process.
