I just tried booking an award om Emirates on the Qantas website but am getting the following error before the last screen:
Qantas.com flight search error: We are unable to confirm the fare for the flights you have selected from the airlines we search. Please cancel these segments and choose a different fare or flights and resubmit your confirmation request. (15012 - 421)
When I go back to the search engine, the seats are gone from the system. This has now happened to two different flights. Were the seats not available in the first place (I've been checking for weeks and the seats have been showing in the calendar), or are they somehow held by Qantas but currently not bookable due to some error?
EDIT: I've tried making dummy bookings across a number of other flights and dates, and I'm getting the same error message regardless of the cabin. Assuming this must be a temporary error, or can I only book Emirates awards over the phone?
